We started a fundraising campaign as the “Beit El Jebel Association”, it was launched during family day, 2022, and everyone was given the chance to participate in a beautiful way. The members were able to collect $7355 by selling tickets and raffles with prizes. The campaign was continued as an e-transfer donation to El Jebel to give people who couldn’t attend our family
day a chance to contribute to the donation. The final sum of 21,625,000 Syrian Pounds was contributed to an NGO called “Humanity brings us together”.
We also prepared 450 food baskets and started the distribution on Friday, April 1, 2022, following a pre-prepared chart with the names and numbers of needy beneficiaries. Most Baskets have been distributed. (450 families, Swaida city and 30 villages).
Our next project is another fundraising campaign to collect grants for students. The target is to fund 10 students with $50 per month at first. We thought out a plan to pick up the particularly needy students and we will keep up with their situation to make sure they deserve this funding, there is a subscription where people can sign up and pay only $5 per month to contribute to the funding. We aim to get 100 contributors, so $500 per month that will fund 10 students per month. We hope this number can be increased once the first step is underway. There are 3 options for the contributors to choose from. They can sponsor one or more students, 4, 5 or 6 years, depending on the student specialty.
