About us: We are not just a society, we are a big family
After several friendly gatherings and meetings of El Jebel families in Toronto – Ontario on the occasions of holidays and celebrations, the idea of establishing Beit El Jebel Association came up to be a reel reference for the El Jebel families and their children. Beit El Jebel association was officially registered on Mar. 16th, 2015.
OUR VISION
To build a local circle of people vitally engaged with social activities and projects to develop the BEJS community and encourage our authentic culture, social customs, and folklore to add to the richness of our community in Canada an influential color, who are thereby well equipped to serve other communities.
To aid BEJS families and our communities that are economically challenged, or affected by war, breakdown of security, natural disasters…etc.
To establish the necessary networks with government authorities and private organizations to provide sponsorship and resettlement services to displaced and immigrant BEJS families (from outside Canada).
To develop and promote programs aimed at improving educational outcomes in the BEJS families (inside Canada) and our communities (outside Canada), including the establishment of scholarship funds for financially challenged students.

OUR MISSION
The Beit El Jebel Society (BEJS) aims to fulfill the following objectives:
- Enhance the friendly relations and strengthen the moral, cultural, social, and economic ties among the BEJS community, and initiate common foundations in educational, cultural, social, and literary programs.
- Develop Local BEJS partnerships for development, and aid with economically challenged our community, new immigrants, and those threatened by security breakdown or national disasters.
- Develop new learning opportunities around their human rights, freedoms, and civic virtues, including social gatherings, workshops, and online seminars and courses.
- Strengthen the sense of identity and belonging of the BEJS youth, with the aim of strengthening their authentic values of their identity and the appreciation of their heritage.
Develop partnerships with other organizations and institutions, with which the BEJS shares common objectives and interests in the cultural, social, economic, and literary domains.

In the year of 2008, the first pioneer families in GTA were gathered to be the core of what later known as Beit El Jebel association.
In 2013 we announced our first Board, the 3 members; Eyad Kutiani, Firas Abou Menther, and Esmaeel Jbour.
In 2014, new board members were selected: Samir Alrishany, Bassam Akwan, and Kameel Alrafee, And this board drafted the “ By-Law”.
In 2015, the board members were Mershed Abou Zaidan, Hasan Alaisamy, and Moeen Alassal. In this year, Beit El Jebel Society was officially registered as “ Non-for profit Organization”.
In 2016, we had 3 new board members; Ziad Adwan, Amjad Jbour, and Rbee Abou Zaidan
In 2017, the board consisted of 3 new members who were; Basel Abou Saleh, Samer Diab, and Esmaeel Abou Fakhr
In 2018, the board was made up of Ziad Katieny, Adnan Hatoum, and Nachaat Bakri
In 2019, the board members were; Basel Abou Saleh, Amjad Jbour, and Omar Kalaani (In This year the 6 Graves were bought and registered in Pickering Cemetery).
In 2022, as we grow as a community, we increased the number of board members from 3 to 5, the members consist of the following; Hosam Abugosh, Ghandi Alzughbi, Ossama Hassan, Anas Arabi, and Ossama Khair.
