Shahba Is Running Out of Time The Hospital Is Fighting to Stay Alive under fuel and power siege 
 
At Shahba Hospital, there is no room to wait.
Kidney patients depend on regular dialysis to survive.
Patients in the Intensive Care Unit rely on life-support machines every single minute.
 
All of these machines run on diesel fuel.
Today, diesel is not just fuel it is life.
 
Without diesel:
•Dialysis sessions will stop
•ICU patients will be placed in immediate danger
•Lives will be lost silently and unnecessarily
 
We are not asking for the impossible.
We are asking for the basic right to life.

شهبا اليوم تختنق… والمشفى يقاوم بالحدّ الأدنى
 
في مشفى شهبا، لا يوجد ترف الانتظار.
هناك مرضى كِلى حياتهم معلّقة بجلسة غسيل،
وأطفال ومرضى في العناية المشددة لا يستطيعون التنفّس دقيقة واحدة بلا أجهزة.
 
كل هذه الأجهزة تعمل على المازوت.
والمازوت اليوم شريان حياة، لا وقود عادي.
 
انقطاع المازوت يعني:
•توقّف غسيل الكلى
•تعريض مرضى العناية المشددة للخطر
•تهديد مباشر لحياة أناس لا ذنب لهم سوى أنهم مرضى
 
نحن لا نطلب المستحيل،
نطلب الحد الأدنى من الحق في الحياة.

Thank you for your support and involvement. This campaign has reached its target of CAD 5,000 and is now closed.

The proceeds of this campaign will go to the Ara Knitting and Weaving Centers, which are managed by Red Crescent branch head Ziad Al-Safadi and media specialist Rahaf Hamzeh, for two noble purposes:

  1. To provide essential materials such as wool and yarn to support self-sufficiency in Sweida and to produce thick coats and sweaters for children and the elderly.

  2. To empower displaced women from affected villages by supporting the wages for their handiwork, giving them a stable source of income.

سيذهب ريع هذه الحملة إلى مراكز عرى للحياكة والنّول التي يتم ادارتها من قبل رئيس شعبة الهلال الأحمر زياد الصفدي والاعلامية رهف حمزة :وذلك لهدفين نبيلين

ا- لأول هو تأمين مواد أول أولية للعمل كالصوف والخيطان وذلك لدعم الاكتفاء الذاتي في السويداء وتأمين معاطف وكنزات سميكة للأطفال والعجزة
و٢ – الهدف الثاني هو تمكين النساء المهجرات من القرى المنكوبة من خلال دعم أجرة يدهم مما يوفر لهم مصدر ثابت للدخل
